Negotiating Balance
Space with a tilted floor, balancing rods, extended rails
It pulls and pushes. Down twenty-one, up seventeen. This installation focuses on maximum effort for minimal result – to remain balanced while falling for a moment forever. Gravity costs nothing. Barely perceptible surfaces, elongated and askew. Within a year we stood up, the trees dispersed, it was time to go..
The installation was part of Köler Prize exhibition at Estonian Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia
